Our client is an exciting FinTech company, who are currently running multiple technologies for their B2B platform offering a number of products. They are hiring a QA / Testing Lead who will be autonomously hands-on in setting up the tools and taking responsibility for the end-to-end quality assurance for the business. The technology domain is highly interesting as the ideal candidate must have extensive experience in manual and automation testing and constructing/creating test cases running in an Agile environment.

This person will be directly reporting to the CTO and closely working with the Product Owner to uniform and provide from-scratch testing process, tools, and strategy.

Responsibilities of the Role:

• Serve as the principal owner of the testing plan and several phases of testing cycle - Design, construct and write test automation scripts
• Closely working with the development team, stakeholders and Product owner for implementing latest stack for the testing tools.
• Ensuring all development tasks meet quality criteria through test planning, test execution, quality assurance and issue tracking.
• Provide testing frameworks on new or existing software

Required Skills of the Role:

• University graduate with a degree in Information Technology, Computer Science, Engineering or equivalent.
• At least 5-6 years extensive experience in software manual and automation testing
• Must have at least 2-3 years hands on experience in automation scripting tools using Selenium/Cypress
• Proven 1-2 years’ experience working with Banking or Fintech firms
• Must have a strong background in testing programs related to Java Platforms which uses Spring boot and Microservices in back end and React JS in front end in an Agile environment
• DevOps container tools like Docker or Kubernetes experience is highly desirable.
• Mobile App automated testing is a nice to have
• Good written and verbal communication skills.
