Job Description

Our client is a leading Global insurance company, who are urgently in need of a highly experienced and seasoned PMO Manager to help drive and support the delivery of a large and complex Finance Transformation and Regulatory Change programme across the APAC region. The role will manage a couple of key work streams within the PMO including, Programme/Project Planning, Governance, Reporting and Resource Management. The PMO engage multiple local business units whilst supporting Delivery Heads across business, operations and technology departments.


  • Develop, review and manage regional project roadmaps, detailed plans and milestones, in conjunction with workstream project managers
  • Keep track of deadlines, deliverables, resources, and timelines throughout the project process by managing the overall project governance and planning
  • Identify, manage and track project dependencies
  • Vendor and resource engagement and management, including governing commercial frameworks
  • Work with Global PMO to ensure standards are consistent
  • Adapt plans based on evolving needs, conditions or issues that may arise and ensure on-time, high-quality delivery in accordance with the stated project goals
  • Maintain processes to ensure project management documentation, reports and plans are relevant, accurate and complete
  • Track and report on project portfolio performance, providing a real-time, comprehensive, and prioritized view of all projects

Required Skills:

  • Proven track record on managing large scale projects, focusing on project governance, scaling and developed frameworks within a highly complex organization or MNCs
  • +15 years in a Project Management or PMO role
  • Highly experienced in project and critical path planning and management within a matrixed and complex project environment
  • Extensive understanding and / or exposure managing enterprise financial regulatory projects, compliance or change management
  • Experience working across multiple geographies with an ability to understand the local nuances and ways of working
  • Understanding of project delivery in a fast-paced environment
  • Strong communication skill across all levels of an organization i.e. working level to C-Suite executives, and ability to build effective relationships quickly
  • Considerable understanding of project management methodologies and tools
  • Excellent communication in written and spoken English
  • Ability to work proactively across multiple departments in multiple locations
